I-MON 256 High Speed
The I-MON 256 HS Interrogation Monitor offers real-time spectrum monitoring of FBG sensors in the full 1525 - 1570 nm wavelength range at line scan rates up to 34 kHz. A high spectrometer resolution combined with a broad wavelength range provides high-resolution interrogation monitors allowing measurement of a large number of FBG sensors.
A GigE interface and a data acquisition software enables plug-and-play operation for integrators of FBG sensing systems.
Applications
OEM Interrogation Monitor modules:
- Vibration analysis
- Temperature measurements
- Pressure monitoring
- Strain measurements

High speed measurement example
To demonstrate the capabilities of the I-MON 256 HS Ibsen has made a measurement of the wavelength modulation from a piezo actuated FBG sensor with a 1 kHz tone. As seen from the picture to the right the I-MON 256 HS resolves the modulation perfectly.
